Show Your Support as MCPH and WSI Gear Up for the 2013 Race Across America!

In conjunction with World Vision, the MCPH team has rallied support from across the globe, all aimed to help eradicate child poverty. Now, we’re gearing up for the 2013 Race Across America, which will focus on raising proceeds for the Children’s Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation.

RACING FOR CHARITY

The incredible cross-country journey offers an outstanding platform for raising money for charitable causes.
WSI and MCPH are geared to support Kathy Roche-Wallace, a member of the WSI cycling team, who also happens to be a 2011 RAAM record-holder in the Solo Woman’s 50+ division. This year, Kathy is aiming to beat her personal record and complete the race in less than 12 days. (More on Kathy’s incredible achievements here).
Kathy’s race will be dedicated to raising funds and boosting awareness of the Children’s Neuroblastoma Cancer Foundation (CNCF). The CNCF is a global foundation committed to finding a cure for neuroblastoma through research, education, awareness and advocacy.
With your support, we can help the CNCF can achieve better outcomes for children with neuroblastoma, those who have survived the rigors of treatment and those who have yet to be diagnosed.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

The 3,000 mile race begins on June 11 and the contributions collected will work to support Kathy and her Race Across America, and then distributed 50/50 between CNCF and MCPH. With the worldwide exposure generated by the event, we can all help to bring awareness to both of these causes. Together we’ll be helping improve the quality of life for children across the globe.
