WSI’s First Annual Charity Golf Tournament was a Huge Success!

WSI has just held its first annual Make Child Poverty History Charity Golf Tournament, a fun-filled event with the purpose of eradicating child poverty in the world and raising funds for this global initiative that WSI strongly supports.

We had over 40 franchisees participating in this tournament, which was held at a great golf course in a beautiful location. The weather was perfect; the energy was high; and everyone was excited. After five hours of playing a 28-hole golf course, the participants returned after having enjoyed the day and each other’s company.

The winning team, which consisted of Maribel Guiste, VP of Franchise Operations, Ray McGrogan from CardChoice International (a Supplier within the WSI e-Marketplace), Mark Brecheisen, a franchisee from Minnesota and Karl Amstadt, a franchisee from Ohio, came in sixth under par (see image above). With the team’s exceptional pocket-putting technique, they were able to soar into first place.

As a result of this initiative, along with our Strategic Alliance Partner Awards Program, WSI was able to raise more than $10,000 for the Make Child Poverty History (MCPH) campaign, a program that serves as a catalyst to bring individuals and organizations together in the fight against child poverty. This allows us to sponsor at least 30 more children in addition to the 250 children who are already sponsored by WSI.
