YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE
It's hard not to feel as though the poverty in this world, and the destruction that it produces, is too great to quell. In our lifetimes poverty has always existed, and the end of poverty doesn't just seem unlikely, it feels impossible. But it isn't. Making poverty history is within our collective ability.
This action list will get you started:

Sponsor a child! It's the simplest and most effective way to save a life! Imagine the power of this gesture and its extraordinary impact! |

Raise awareness in your social group. Partner with friends and colleagues to put together a volunteer committee for a cause of your choice and take action. |

Wear an armband - As a silent and constant reminder of your committment to make a difference and encouragement for others to do the same. |

Volunteer for an aid/development organization - The need for help always outweighs the supply. If this situation motivates you to ne a helping hand then contact an organization of your choice today and ask them how you can get involved. |
