WSI is teeing off on June 20th, 2008, for a global golf tournament supporting ‘Make Child Poverty History

On June 20th, 2008, several hundred WSI Internet Consultants spread across 87 countries will take to the greens and make their worthy contributions to help eradicate child poverty. The WSI network of Consultants will participate sequentially (based on time zones) in the golf tournament taking place in New Zealand, Australia (Sydney and Melbourne), the Middle East, South Africa, Europe, UK, South America, Canada and the US. The tournament will conclude in California. This tournament is one of the biggest global events under the Make Child Poverty History banner.

The Vision: It is important to GIVE BACK. How can we do that? Well we had such success at the Orlando E&I conference with the first MCPH golf tournament we have decided to put together a “worldwide” golf event.

WSI, internet consultants, business partners, clients, family and friends will golf on one specific day, in all regions around the world. We have selected June 20, 2008 as that day. It is a great opportunity to network with clients and prospects, increase awareness through social responsibility and just to have a great day of fun!!!

Doug Schust, International WSI Consultant and Linda Dinelle, co-organizer for the WSI Worldwide Golf Tournament explain how the idea evolved from a MCPH charity golf game that took place at the company’s annual Excellence and Innovation global convention in Orlando, Florida last September.

It gave momentum to the MCPH movement as many more WSI Consultants sat up and took notice of the opportunity to make a difference, giving something back to their community. With the backing and support of WSI headquarters, we decided to leverage this growing desire to help by involving the entire WSI network in a global event.

Registration for the tournament is underway now and can be done online via a dedicated website www.wsiworldwidegolf.com. Starting off on the morning of June 20th, it will ensure that all participants are teeing off on the same day, around the world.

Don’t miss out! – Sign up now! – You Can Help Make A Difference!!!
